Winter Coat for Sammy

Sammy's new Winter Coat. A perfect fit for a special little guy. He wasn't sure of it at first, yet now seems to love it and settled into its warmth nicely.

Sammy is a very special fella who is a bit fragile. Sammy (Samuel) was born with scoliosis of the neck. He has the sweetest personality and asks for scratches by pawing your leg or pulling on your clothes with his teeth. He loves a good body scratch and is willing to stand for one for as long as you are willing to scratch him.

Sammy also gets to come in the shop and have morning grain to help him get enough nutrients and food. Which he absolutely loves and either meets me at the door to the shop or follows me in from the barn. This little guy is loved by all who meet him.

Our furry friends do have their own Winter Coats, of course, yet there are times we help them out with an extra layer to ensure they stay warm.
